Hi we are redoing the site. Originally it had the introduction below but after a change in partners and the way the company is structured the site will be used slightly differently.

Most of the work was done by Web Hosting plans who took all the battles to get the site back up and running.

Beacon Healthcare Associates was founded in 2003 by Internist Dr. David Clements, who has practiced in Asheville since 1999. He has been joined by Physician Assistant Sarah Davis, who has practiced here since 1985.

We offer general medical care, and serve as “family doctors” for our clients, referring them to specialists when necessary. We are trained to treat the most common problems. We screen for illnesses such as cancers, diabetes, and heart disease, and offer advice on healthy living.

We try to offer our clients a friendly, intimate healthcare experience. We value connection as an important part of health and healing. We see our role(s) as that of guide and companion, helping our clients to understand their choices and to support them in drawing from the many resources available to them locally and beyond to find the approach to healthcare and healing that best suits them. We are well-trained in conventional medical therapies, but are friendly to holistic approaches to wellness, including nutritional and physical therapies.

Dr. Clements is on the staff of Mission Hospitals. He has asked the hospital specialists, who are organized in a firm known as Primedoc, to oversee the hospital care of his patients.

We welcome new patients. Currently we accept most health insurance plans, including Blue Cross, Crescent, Healthcare Savings, MedCost, United Healthcare, Medicare, and Medicaid.
